~ Happy Thanksigiving and Sales Galore ~

Happy Thanksgiving!  I am thankful for my friends, family, health.... you know... the usual stuff.  Instead of getting all mushy, I will just get down to what's important for today.... sales!  Ok, I am just kidding, sales are not that important, but certainly fun to shop with your relatives right?

First... 33% off on Endless.com on certain styles!  The boots that I have been drooling over are included!!!  I got them in black because I want black boots, but I think they look better in the caramel color.  Should I just get it in caramel and get another pair of black boots?

ModCloth.com is having a spectacular 50% off sale!  I am tempted by the yellow coat and the purple coat, but nothing else much.  I already got a coat from here earlier that I simply love.  I should control myself, but for $35... it's kind of hard.

I like the free shipping off anything at Victoria's Secret, but other than that, no biggie.

Carter's and Osh K'osh is having 50% off everything on their site too.  Though I think it may be a better deal at the stores 'cause they have the discount at the store too and extra $20 off $40 coupon.  New York and Company also has 50% off everything.  The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works also have great deals.  Missha has 40% off everything, but I remember it was 50% off everything around Christmas time.  But, you know what else?  I am having an awesome sale for Happy Cloud Supplies!  Check out these jewelry displays for just $4!!  Hurry and put your order in.  I only have 1 of each.

There are also lots of items for just $1!  I am not done putting everything on sale, but will be finished by tonight.  Happy Shopping!!!

~ Customer Highlight: artwithheart ~

Catherine from artwithheart recently purchased a set of gift boxes from my shop.  She was so kind and sent me a picture of how she decorated the box.  It's so pretty!!!!

Catherine is a very talented lampwork artist.  She has many beach-inspired items in her shop and has a solid rating.  I absolutely love her beads and her pictures!

She has sold about 800 items just on Etsy!  I am very tempted to get one of her beads because it's like a piece of everything from the beach, encased in glass.  Please visit her shop to see more!

~ Plumeria Madness and Other New Items at Happy Cloud Supplies ~

I love plumerias.  They are so simple and pretty.  I even wanted to use them for my wedding bouquet.  But, I couldn't and now I must make up for it by purchasing large quantities of plumeria beads.  I am just kidding.  I have quite a few requests for these in different colors so I ordered some.  I hope people will like them!  I have now 8 colors in stock.

I think my favorite ones are light blue and gray.  I know you are surprised that it's not the yellow ones but I don't care for the orange that much.

I also got some mini plumeria beads.  They are better for earrings necklaces and bracelets.  Also great for hair pins.

I may have to take pictures of these again.  It's like a neon pink and it's so hard to capture!

I also got 2 new bells.  Here are the hamsters...

And rubber duckies!  Ok, they are not rubber, but they look like rubber duckies!

And here are some random stuff I picked up. I think these beads are cool! Very pretty and exotic.

I got more big lobster claws for key chains.  These are pretty awesome as purse charms too.

These are super cute too!  Perfect for the summer!

I will be listing these slowly over the next few days.  Please be sure to visit Happy Cloud Supplies to see all the great charms and beads available now!

~ New Rare Colors for Swarovski Crystal Stars ~

I posted about new colors for my favorite Swarovski crystal star beads before.  But, I found more!  Supposedly, there's fuchsia and olivine!!!  I am so super excited because they make great earrings!

I just finished listing these earrings because I am too excited about them to not list them.  I am really liking the dark brown background in the pictures too.  It's warmer than gray and more unique.

I am going to share these beads with all you fellow beaders too!  These are now listed in my supplies shop.  You won't find these anywhere else right now.  Not at Artbeads, Fusionbeads, Fire Mountain Gems, Brightlingsbeads and Beadinpath.

Swarovski Crystal Star Bead 5714 in Olivine

I just love this bright pink color!  What else should I make with these??  I am already thinking about charm bracelets!

And yes, I did buy the factory pack.  Does it make business sense?  Not really, but I really, really wanted them and I can only get them in factory packs.  I hope someone else loves them too!  I am not crazy right?

~ Swarovski 2011/2012 Autumn/Winter Innovation ~

Guess what? It's that time again! New Swarovski crystals are coming out soon! I am very excited about the 2011/2012 Autumn/Winter Innovation. I think this is my favorite since the 5714 star beads came about. First, let's look at the new colors, beads and pendants...

Colors

This new color has such a pretty name! Crystal Silver Night...is it me or does it remind you of twilight?  It's actually an effect instead of a new color, like golden shadow and red magma.  It looks like it is a darker than black diamond but has a silver sheen like silver shade.  I would pair it with fuschia, aquamarine or violet I think.  My mind is already working on new pieces!

I am so excited that there's a new yellow! It's called Sunflower and it's such a rich, warm yellow! It's like light topaz but more golden and bright. Love it! It comes in star shape too so I am super excited!

Beads
This is the 5752 Clover bead.  Love it.  Looks like 4 little hearts!  I think this will be a very popular bead.
This oval bead was inspired by chinese lanterns and called 5030 Lantern.  I am thinking chunky bracelets with these.

Pendants

I love this 6240 wild heart pendant! It has an attitude and it is so much more interesting than the normal 6202 heart pendant. Just can not wait to get my hands on this!

6040 Helios Pendant will look amazing with just a ribbon tied to it.  The facets mimics sunrays and will sure be a sparkly focal piece.

This 6128 mini pear pendant is going to make very pretty princess inspired necklaces!  I am going to attempt some more complicated necklaces for the holiday season and this will come in handy!

Prints
What?? Really?? These are going to be interesting! Swarovski has applied 3 different motifs in black to clear crystal pendants and beads.

There's going to be a big Swarovski crystal haul once these babies come out!  It's time to get ready for the holiday season!  Let's see if I can make it to 200 items in my Etsy jewelry shop by Thanksgiving :)

~ New Swarovsk Crystal Star Colors ~

I am so super excited!!! My beloved Swarovski crystal stars now come in eight new colors!!  I just ordered some and they arrived today! The new colors are light siam, light rose, sapphire, aquamarine, black diamond, jonquil and light colorado topaz.  There's also crystal red magma that should arrive in a couple of days.

I will be using these babies to make some earrings and necklaces for my Etsy shop tomorrow.  I would make them today, but I left my spool of chain at a friend's house =.=

I can't wait to make something for myself using these light topaz and jonquil stars!  Yay for more yellow!!

~ Big Selection of Polymer Clay Doll Head Beads ~

I love these doll head beads. They are just so cute! I have made a few charms with them for my jewelry shop before and sold a few. It's really easy! I will post some tutorials this weekend.

On my last trip to Hong Kong, I found a new supplier for these beads so I was able to lower my price on them. I got a variety too! Here are some for your life events like wedding, graduation, babies, first day of school and first time seeing snow. And there's a nurse too :)

I like these fantasy ones more! There are witches, Japanese styles, fairies and fruity hats. I love the fairy one. The hair and flowers are so intricate and pretty!

These are the regular girls. I love the one with the short curl hair that look like roses! They are like anime characters!

Of course there are ones for the 12 signs of the zodiac! Which one is your favorite? I am very happy with the Scorpio one. But Libra and Gemini are a little bit weird.

They also make ones for the Chinese zodiac. I don't have all of them though. The dragon one looks like a deer. But, a dragon is supposed to have a deer head right?

I am still in the process of listing some of these in my supplies shop. Some of them are already in my artfire shop too. Speaking of Artfire, I had my first sale! I hope there will be many more to come. When my first month is up, I will tell you about the stats and a more thorough review of Artfire as a venue. So far, the views are fairly low. I hope they pick up soon! Anyway, come back for tutorials this weekend!

~ Unique Polymer Clay Flowers ~

I have been selling polymer clay flowers in my supplies shop for a while. I love them because they are so cute and pretty! I just love the details each blossom has.
Polymer Clay Flowers Beads - Tea Party Set

During my trip to Hong Kong in 2008, I saw this rose bouquet and I was in awe. It has the most gorgeous glossy finish! I am no expert in polymer clay beads, but I have never seen any flowers like this. I got 2, but I couldn't figure what I want to make out of it. So, when I opened up my supplies shop, I put them up for sale, hoping they'll find a happy home.
Unique Iridescent Pink Rose Polymer Clay Bouquet Bead

This past month in Hong Kong, I went to look for more of these flowers because I think these are really unique. They don't have that rose bouquet anymore, but I found lots of other awesome flowers! Isn't black roses so alluring and mysterious? Look how glossy it is!

I also found these little glossy pink roses. They are only 7mm wide, but so cute! They will look so good if they are woven into crystal charms or used as bridal hair pins.

I also love these matte plum color flowers. I have no idea what kind of flowers they are supposed to be, but they are gorgeous. These are a lot more sophisticated then most polymer clay flowers.

I have just finished listing them in my shop. You can click on the pictures to go to the listing. I hope you like these as much as I do. Which one is your favorite?

~ Swarovski Crystallized Elements 2010/2011 Spring Launch ~

Ok. Enough of snow already. It was all fun and pretty and exciting, till they announced another winter storm watch from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon. Snow is no longer pretty when it stands in the way between me and my trip to Hong Kong. *sigh*

So, to cheer myself up, I am going to share some exciting news with you. Earlier this week, I received an email from a supplier about the Swarovski 2010/2011 Spring launch. I was so excited! I usually like their spring launches more because of the light colors and elements. This year, they have very pretty, bright colors and organic shapes.

~ Colors ~
Provence Lavender
Supposedly, this is a pale purple shade with a hint of blue. I have looked at these pictures in 3 monitors and they still look blue to me.

Fern Green
This look like a green between bright peridot and dark ernite. It looks very rich. I like it

Lavender Pearls
Wow! I really like this one! Right now, Swarovski pearls only has a few shades of purple and none of them are very bright. This looks like a very pretty color.

~ Beads ~
Artemis 5540
I can see a lot of angels being made out of these beads. The bottom looks like it will fit round beads very well.
Wing 5590
I like the shape of these wing beads, but I am not sure I like where the hole is.

Square Bead with Double Holes
This one is pretty exciting. I like the shape a lot. I am imagining a lot of bracelets and necklaces with this bead! Rings too!

Baroque Pearl 5840
I am going to buy these in every color when this comes out!! I do like how all Swarovski pearls are perfectly round and it works out for a lot of designs. However, I feel that just round pearls can be boring. This baroque pearl is going to be very fun to play with!

~ Pendants ~
Three of the "new" pendants this year (ginko, lotus, and zinnia) are not really new. They debuted in Swarovski store last February as a designer collection called
‘Fantastic Flowers’ by AndrĂ©e Putman. But, finally, they are selling these as regular components, which means it is probably cheaper than before.

Ginko 6900
I love ginko leaves! These will make awesome pendants for necklaces.

Lotus 6908
These are very pretty too! I am imagining some very pretty necklaces with these.

Zinnia
I am not sure how I feel about zinnia. If you turn them around, it looks like a little fox.

Wing
I am surprised they pushed out another wing shape pendant so soon after the Pegasus pendant. This one has a softer shape and definitely looks more organic.

~ Miscellaneous ~
Filigree 62026
This is so pretty! It reminds me of Taj Mahal for some reason.

Filigree 62027
This is so pretty too! Looks just like a snow flake though. Won't it be better for the fall/winter launch? The 6 holes are just full of potential!

Cosmic Square Ring 4437
This is an interesting shape. I like how it's asymmetrical. Just get this and put it on a sterling silver chain and it'll be beautiful!

By the time I come back, most of the suppliers I use should have these in stock. I am excited!!!
