~ New Jewelry and Accessories Inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean ~
This past weekend, pirates took over my living room. I never saw Pirates of the Caribbean III so I had a little Pirates of the Caribbean marathon to get myself ready for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. After seeing all those pirates, I got a little bit inspired to make some pirates-related items! First, a pair of earrings...
These skulls are super sparkly and I love the muted blue tear drop crystals! I added a little golden shadow in there for extra beachy sparkles!
This is like the star fish on Bill Turner's face right? Ok, not really. This one is much much prettier! I love it! Check it out in my shop here.
I also have a little pirates theme going on at Happy Cloud Supplies with these skull charms, crown charms and skull key charms. I threw in the flower because it's awesome.
Did you see the new Pirates of the Caribbean yet? What kind of pirate DIY projects have you done?

Another skull item is this awesome purse hook. I put this charm on a white pearl cabochon on this hook. Have you ever used a purse hook? These are awesome!

~ New Earrings for Happy Cloud Moments ~
I was suddenly inspired to make earrings a few nights ago and I ended up with 12 pairs! It's wedding season so I made a few bridesmaid sets. I don't know about you, but I love the idea of bridesmaid wearing different dresses in the same color theme. With the different dresses, of course there should be different earrings! My first set is a Powder Rose, classic soft pink, that's sophisticated enough for weddings and not too girly. This set has 4 pairs.
I may list this pair on its own. I love it and I am keeping this pair for myself.
Here's a blue set with light blue pearls, bright blue crystal spacers and deep, almost turquoise crystals.
I started using this to show the length of the earrings. Is this better or should I go back to using my hand for scale?
My favorite of course, is this yellow set!! I saw somewhere that gray with a pop of yellow is a great color for weddings for summer 2011. Well, These will be great with steel gray dresses with a yellow sash and yellow bouquets.
I think my favorite in this set is the one to the right.
I used to have something like this in my shop before. They were popular but I found it hard to make them before. Now, I have practiced and make them better! These are also shorter and I think they are cuter. They look very cute on my friend with short hair. I will resurrect some of the other color schemes that I had soon!
I love the marquis shape earrings. They are fun and casual and look so timeless. I love how sparkly these are. What should I call them?
I have a busy weekend up ahead, but I am feeling so inspired lately. I hope I will get some time to make more earrings soon!! Please stop by my jewelry shop if you have a few minutes. I am running an awesome spring clearance sale! By the way, I love my new macro lens!

~ New Items and Spring Sale at Happy Cloud Moments ~
I have been super busy with work, visits, foster dogs and life that I haven't had a lot of time to make jewelry. I finally got 1 free night and ended up making a multi-strand necklace and 2 pairs of earrings! I usually don't make multi-strand necklaces because it looks hard. It took a lot of time, but I did it! I used a couple vintage Swarovski crystal daisies, flowers, butterflies and spring color beads and my favorite sterling silver heart chain.
After spending a few hours on that necklace, I put together 2 pairs of simple earrings because I finally restocked these awesome earwires! I love this Bermuda Blue Heart crystals. It's just so gorgeous!
These starfish earrings are perfect for summer time. I can also make this out of other color starfish crystals. In fact, I already sold a pair in indicolite. I love it when something sells the day I list them!
Another announcement for Happy Cloud Moments is that I am having a Spring Sale! Items are marked down by 20-75% off! Here's a snapshot of the Spring Sale section. Be sure to check it out! And don't forget that there's a destash sale going on in Happy Cloud Supplies too!

~ New Colors for Swarovski Crystal Star Necklaces ~
I got these beads a few months ago and I finally got time to make them into necklaces! My star necklaces are one of the most popular items in Happy Cloud Moments. So, here are the new colors...Black Diamond....
Bright blue aquamarine.... you know aquamarine is the birthstone for March right? This will be a perfect little birthday gift!!
Here's another blue one... a solid deep blue called Sapphire.
Here's light siam, a bright red.
If light siam is too bright for you, here's Crystal Red Magma. It's more muted but it's a very warm red.
This is a brand new color called Sunflower. It's between light topaz and topaz in the scale of yellowness.
This is another yellow called Jonquil .... very light and soft.
I finally took a picture of all the colors! 21 colors for the big star and 3 more for smaller stars. I can make the necklace with a small star for more daintiness. I love how all the yellow colors look together!! Which one is your favorite?

Good bye Valentine's Day.... Hello St Patrick's Day! While it's still about 3 weeks away, I already worked on some festive jewelry for Happy Cloud Moments. These pieces all feature one of the newer Swarovski crystal shapes: clover.
Maybe you want something a little fancier. How about two clovers? They are so cute together!
This is Shamrock Love... the Morning Edition. These are perfect for the parades!
These are Shamrock Love... the Dusk Edition. Gold clovers and Pink hearts for watching the sunset... with a few beers.
This is the pot of gold version. Very simple and perfect for every day wear.
Clovers come in the following colors. Let me know if you want to customize any of these pieces.

~ Zoya Crystal... Sparkly Silver Blue ~
Happy Friday! It's so warm outside! I want to go do something, but I don't know what yet. Anyway, I did my nails a couple days ago and want to show it off because it's so super pretty!! Let me introduce you to Zoya Crystal...
Zoya Crystal is a cool silverish blue with lots of sparkle! If you look really closely, you can see the silver specks on the blue polish. If you love glitter, you will love this polish. I didn't know what else to add to this pretty color so I just put some stickers on. I have tons of these and I really should do a blog sale for them. Who wants some?
They look nice with my pretty earrings :) That's my excuse for doing my nails, so they look pretty in my jewelry pictures.
Anyway, I used 3 coats of Zoya crystal + Seche Vite top coat. Top coat was applied after the the stickers. 3 coats did take a while to dry though but the Seche Vite really helped. These usually last for about 2 weeks, but I am already planning for my next manicure... I am thinking yellow :)

~ New Swarovski Crystal 2011/2012 Spring Collection ~
I can't believe it's time for morew new Swarovski crystals! It seems like this is the season for hearts! I loved the wild heart pendant from the last collection and I love all the hearts from the new collection too! Though I am surprised they didn't release these in the last collection, in time for Valentine's day.
Ok... I will try to control myself and not get one of everything in every size in every color. Wish me luck!
Colors and Effects
I guess this is not really a new color, but a new effect. It's called Amethyst Blend. The purple color fades to a light amethyst color within the crystal. It looks like the gradient direction is not fixed for each shape. Very fluid and organic. | |
| This pretty light green is Chrysolite Opal. These translucent soft green crystals will be perfect for romantic spring pieces. | |
| Guess what? More metallics! This time, it's bronze, officially Crystal Bronze Shade. It looks like a very cool color and would be great for more gender neutral accessories. | |
| Another blend color: Topaz Blend. I am not sure how I feel about this. I work mostly with silver and I usually picture brown with copper or gold findings. | |
| Another romantic color for pearls. This is Crystal Vintage Gold pearls. It's a soft color and I can't wait to play with these! |
Beads
