~ Amazing Human Flowers by Cecilia Webber ~

I love flowers. I am just a typical girl, what can I say? You know what's better than flowers?  Flowers made out of people!  According to her website, Cecilia Webber  wants to celebrate the beauty of human bodies and started this series of images of flowers created from photographs of human bodies in different poses.  This is a close up of one of her creations.  See the faces and the bodies?

These are just so awesome!!!  She created quite a few of these and here are my favorites.  First, the yellow dandelion  Yellow is so pretty :)

One of my favorite flowers, the bleeding hearts.  Note that even the branches and leaves are bodies!

Sakura! Who ever would've thought that if you sit with your arms out on the floor, you'll look like a cherry blossom petal?

White dandelion!  I love the flying seed!

The colors in this one is just amazing!  The leaves are so awesome too!  They look so natural and organic.

Another yellow one.  Just the thought of coloring these photos and laying them out boggles my mind!  Prints are for sale at Ms Webber's website so be sure to check it out!

~ Feature Friday: Allie's Minis ~

This week has been pretty crazy and haven't been able to blog! I had a deadline for work, had to prepare for a trip and found a new addiction. I'll post about the new addiction later. Let's get back into the groove with this week's Friday Feature! This week, I found another cute little miniature shop, Allie's Minis! Allie is a second grade teacher and a miniature food artist from Chicago. You all know how much I love Chicago :)

Everything you see in Allie's Minis is handmade by Allie using polymer clay. She has dollhouse minis like cakes and other kinds of food. Look how cute these cakes are!!! I love them!

Everything is so detailed. Look at the slices of bananas, strawberries and kiwis on this fruit tart. I think the bananas look very real!

She has other food items too like this yummy Turkey Dinner. I love how she gives you size reference with coins and do it so inconspicuously. Most of the time, I think coins make pictures look tacky, but she does it so well! You hardly notice the coin there.

Of course she has my favorite sushi too! Just imagine rolling the polymer clay into little balls for the masago! This takes a lot of patience.

She also makes charms and earrings. I know you want these cute slices of carrot cake on your ears!

She has 9 items in her sales section right now. These are a great deal! Get them before they are gone!

Allie has a wonderful blog too! Don't forget to follow her if you want to keep up with her miniature food making adventures. I hope you like her shop as much as I do. Don't forget to click on the pictures to get to the listings or her shop. And of course, don't forget to comment here to show her your love!

~ Do you want to be featured? Leave a comment here and I will take a look at your shop. I will pick one to be featured every Friday! ~

~ Fork Art by Matthew Bartik ~

Last time I was in NYC, we strolled through Central Park to check out the Metropolitan Museum. Right by the museum entrance, there were a lot of people selling paintings, prints, photos and other artwork on the sidewalk. There were a lot of fun stuff, but this guy Matthew definitely had the coolest stand!

He is the artist behind Fork Art! He was making some bracelets there while people were browsing. All he uses are stainless steel forks and pliers. Ooo and his strong muscular arms too. I was there for about 15 minutes and I remember seeing him making about 6 sales! The items are reasonably priced. The bracelets are fairly cheap at about $10. I was tempted to get one, but I don't I wouldn't wear it after that one day.

He said we can take pictures, but no closeups. I happened to have my 55-200mm lens on my camera and I was standing pretty far away. I hope he doesn't consider this a close up. Isn't this little guy so cute?? He also has some awesome vehicles on display too. I didn't get a chance to snap more pictures but be sure to check out his website for more info!

Anyway, the Metropolitan museum is amazing! There are so much stuff in there!!! This is just the outside. We spent a few hours there and only saw maybe half of the exhibits. Definitely need to go back some other time.

Another weird thing I saw was this tree. I have never seen a tree where the flowers are on the branches! It looks like snail eggs I used to see at my grandparents' farm.

But, up close, they are very pretty!

Let me know if you know what kind of tree this is. It's cool!

~ Illusions, DIY Sneakers, and 3D Tetris ~

Check out what I read about this past week!

80 Rain Photographs I love pictures of water droplets! This is an awesome collection of photographs that uplifted my dreary spirits during this rainy week.

Funny and Artistic 404 pages on BitRebels I never thought I will smile when I see a 404 error page, but I did. Here are a few of my favorites from the article. I think this is from Spirited Away.

Please excuse the foul language, but this is funny :)

I saw a lot of amazing art this week, mostly from Bit Rebels! This one made me bust out my sketchpad. I was going to doodle too, but it looks so messy compared to these "doodles" by Irina Vinnik. I gave up.

I have seen some of the sidewalk chalk art illusions before through forwarded emails. Richard Darell put together a impressive list on Bit Rebels this week. Feast your eyes on these 76 awesome illusions.

I saw Amy Sol's magical work on Epheriell Designs. Wow! I love it. So soft and surreal! She makes stars look sophisticated!

If pins are not your thing, maybe you want to design your own sneakers. That's right, you can design and SELL sneakers through Zazzle!

Here's a fun game for you Tetris lovers: Torus by Ben Joffe. It's a 3D twist to the regular Tetris game. It has 3 modes for endless hours of fun! It takes a minute to get used to the 3D. My high score for traditional mode is 13575. Beat that! :)
