~ Zoya Crystal... Sparkly Silver Blue ~

Happy Friday!  It's so warm outside!  I want to go do something, but I don't know what yet.  Anyway, I did my nails a couple days ago and want to show it off because it's so super pretty!!  Let me introduce you to Zoya Crystal...

Zoya Crystal is a cool silverish blue with lots of sparkle!  If you look really closely, you can see the silver specks on the blue polish.   If you love glitter, you will love this polish.  I didn't know what else to add to this pretty color so I just put some stickers on.  I have tons of these and I really should do a blog sale for them.  Who wants some?

They look nice with my pretty earrings :)  That's my excuse for doing my nails, so they look pretty in my jewelry pictures.

Anyway, I used 3 coats of Zoya crystal + Seche Vite top coat.  Top coat was applied after the the stickers.  3 coats did take a while to dry though but the Seche Vite really helped.  These usually last for about 2 weeks, but I am already planning for my next manicure... I am thinking yellow :)

~ Niwano Hana Revisited ~

It has been a while since I stuffed myself with sushi at Niwano Hana so I was so glad when my friends asked me to go! This time we tried some new items along with the old favorites.  This is the mussels appetizer was awesome!

These deserve another picture.  They are like the spicy scallop rolls but on a mussel!  I really need to learn how to make this!  Can someone please tell me what's in the sauce?

This is the seared salmon roll, another new item we tried.  Pretty awesome as well.  I usually don't care for cooked salmon but these were yummy!  I love the grilled taste!

Here's what we got.... Volcano roll (<3), alligator roll, crunchy shrimp roll and.... I forgot the rest.

Just testing the Canon S95 on this crunchy goodness.

And this is my favorite Spicy Scallop roll.  Though... is it my imagination or did they use to put more scallops on this?

I just realized this is the 2nd sushi post I wrote this week.  I guess you can tell that I love sushi.  Don't worry, I will be posting about other food soon!

~ Zuma Blitz Tips: The Yellow Dirt Road ~

What a sad moment. I am hanging my head in shame because I didn't get the gold medal this week! I lost by 80,000 points! Sad!

Ok, I am over it.  I am pretty proud of my score though!  A full 2:00 game!

And 1M just for the fruits!  Yea!!!  That was a pretty unbelievable game.  I have gotten past 2M a few times, and 2.4 once.  But, just couldn't get past this score.

And I got to level 80.  That was madness.  But I am so glad because my little froggy is now forever yellow.  Ok, the 10% speed boost helps too.

So, this week was kind of weird.... For some reason, they had an old board up for a while.  It was "Dark Sand" from about a month ago.  Strange.  Anyway, this week's Zuma Blitz board is confusing!  These curves are killing me.  And the yellow track makes it hard to see the yellow balls!

The fruits are in the little curve in the upper right and lower left hand corner.  Pretty easy to get to so this is another high scoring board.  It is a little bit tricky though.  The curves makes you think you can hit the fruit but really, there's a ball in the way.

Anyway, here's my choice of powers for this week.  You gotta have the time and I am pretty confident that I can get the fruits, so Epic Fruit.  Also, I like the Bombs because the tracks are close to one another.  Bombs are very effective.  This board is also awesome for gap shots!  Because the tracks come from opposite ends, it takes time to switch between aiming at the tracks.  So, concentrate on one track at a time.  I am not using Hot Frog because it's pretty hard to get the Hot Frog on this board.  I feel like the balls are more randomly placed.

Here's my score so far and I am #1 for now.  Hopefully, my Zuma arch nemesis won't be playing much this week so I can stay #1 :)

~ Awesome Deal for Spa World on Groupon ~

I went to Spa World about a month ago and it was pretty awesome.  It's in Centreville, next to a Korean grocery store.  It is usually $35 for entrance fee.  With today's Groupon, it's only $15!  $15!!!!  Please head over to Groupon and get this deal now!  They have these awesome comfy chairs....

And many funny statues.... Anyways, here's how the spa works.  You pay the entrance fee and you can use their sauna, bade pool with different massage jets, hot tubs and seven poultice rooms that employ rejuvenating elements drawn from Mother Earth's natural petticoats, such as hot red clay, germanium, heated charcoal, and amethyst.  My favorite rooms are the hot red clay where you lie in red clay balls and the amethyst room because it's so pretty.  One of the 7 rooms is a cold room, which feels very good after you have been to the hot room.

You can stay in the place for 24 hours and there's a big communal area for you to rest and eat and watch tv or read.  There are other services like massage and body scrubs that costs extra money.  I got a body scrub and it was interesting!  My skin was so nice afterward.  I usually have very dry skin in the winter but after the scrub, my skin was nice and smooth for a month!  Now, it's starting to be a little dry again so I think it's spa time :)  The scrubbing process is a little bit weird though.  They put you on this table and just scrub you down like you are a dirty dish.

And yes, you'll be naked. In the bade pool area, everyone is naked. Boys and Girls are separated though. Only the poultice rooms area are public.  Everything is nice and clean and professional.  So, grab your friends and head over there! Don't forget the Groupon deal :)

~ Unique Sushi at Ziki Japanese Steak House in Gaithersburg ~

Happy Valentine's Day!  It's our first Valentine's Day as a married couple and guess what we did!   Eat!  Yes, that's it.  Eat.  We were even too tired to dress up, but it's ok.  My husband took me to eat sushi and I am happy as long as I have sushi.  So, he took me to Ziki and it was super crowded!  Good thing there were seats at the sushi bar which is next to the liquor bar.  Pretty?  By the way, this is my first HDR picture.  Just testing it out....

Anyway, we come here fairly often and we order this every time!  Though I don't know the name of it.... we just ask the chef to give us the "broom".  It's tuna I think with toasted soba noodles around it, tied with seaweed.  It's so crunchy and good!

Underneath the roll is mango salad.  Everything goes so well together.

We ordered the P & R roll and spicy salmon roll.  Look how pretty!

This made me feel so special :)  The spicy tuna roll was very good!  Not too spicy which is awesome because I am not supposed to eat spicy food right now.

This is the sashimi combo.  This is the coolest sashimi combo I have ever had!  And it has a great variety of sashimi and some of them I have never had before.

Everything was fresh and yummy.  I ate all the octopus :)

I don't know what this is... but it was yummy and pretty!

This was taken with the flash so everything is clearer.

Since we sat at the sushi bar, we could sneak a few more pictures of other patrons' dishes.  Look at that uni.  The fish to rice ratio here is pretty awesome.

Eel and salmon hand roll....  So fresh!  If I wasn't so full, I would order one for myself.

Ziki is in Rio, but off to the side....a little bit past Kohl's.  They have hibachi grill too and a nice bar with great happy hour.  Can't wait to go back.... Next time, I have to remember to save room for the fried cheesecake...

~ The End of Winter ~

Well, not quite the end of winter, but I was hoping it would be. It was so sunny today and the temperature was in the 50s! So, I packed my Canon S95 and Momo and took a walk by the lake.  The sky was so very blue!

And the clouds were so pretty!  Of course, it was a lot colder than I thought.  The wind was so chilly!  Even the lake is still half frozen!

And there was still left over snow.... That's so weird.  Usually snow here melts in a few days, but it has been over 2 weeks!

Here's Momo, walking the plank...
Look how icy it still is!

I think this is one of my favorites because it looks like a monster is going to come out of the hole!

I had some fun with the miniature setting with the S95.  It's.... interesting.....

I look pictures of these before and they are still there!  Very pretty against the blue sky!

Ok, so can you tell the difference between the pictures I took with the Pentax K100d versus the S95?  I think all cameras are the same in my hands since I use the Auto setting.  I know.... shame on me...  I am reading the manual for S95 though so soon I will venture into other settings!
