~ Happy Thanksigiving and Sales Galore ~

Happy Thanksgiving!  I am thankful for my friends, family, health.... you know... the usual stuff.  Instead of getting all mushy, I will just get down to what's important for today.... sales!  Ok, I am just kidding, sales are not that important, but certainly fun to shop with your relatives right?

First... 33% off on Endless.com on certain styles!  The boots that I have been drooling over are included!!!  I got them in black because I want black boots, but I think they look better in the caramel color.  Should I just get it in caramel and get another pair of black boots?

ModCloth.com is having a spectacular 50% off sale!  I am tempted by the yellow coat and the purple coat, but nothing else much.  I already got a coat from here earlier that I simply love.  I should control myself, but for $35... it's kind of hard.

I like the free shipping off anything at Victoria's Secret, but other than that, no biggie.

Carter's and Osh K'osh is having 50% off everything on their site too.  Though I think it may be a better deal at the stores 'cause they have the discount at the store too and extra $20 off $40 coupon.  New York and Company also has 50% off everything.  The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works also have great deals.  Missha has 40% off everything, but I remember it was 50% off everything around Christmas time.  But, you know what else?  I am having an awesome sale for Happy Cloud Supplies!  Check out these jewelry displays for just $4!!  Hurry and put your order in.  I only have 1 of each.

There are also lots of items for just $1!  I am not done putting everything on sale, but will be finished by tonight.  Happy Shopping!!!

~ The Shopping Spree Continues ~

I saw a few good sales so I headed to the mall with my friend and did some major damage to my credit card!  I intended to get some new clothes but I got a little bit distracted.

First, there's the semi-annual sale at Bath and Body Works.  They have some antibacterial soaps for 75% off.  With the $10 off $40 coupon, it was about $1.25 a bottle.  Good deal.  I actually didn't need anything from there.  Together with my friend, we barely made it over $40 to use the coupon.

I also got this little silicone bee for my soups.  It goes on top of the soap pump.  So cute!

This is a new bag I got for work.  I love the bow!  Usually, I wouldn't get a Guess bag.  But, I really like this one.  And it was 40% off!  There's a pretty good sale going on at Guess right now with their clearance items.  Lots of cute skirts and club wear.

I also went a little bit crazy at Crabtree and Evelyn.  I love their age defying hand cream and they are on sale for $10!  They are regularly $25.  And if you purchase over $30, you can pay $5 for their hand scrub which is usually $22.  Purchase over $50 and you get a free travel set.  And they have a lot of scrubs and lotions for 75% off.  Also their hand soaps are buy 1 get 1 free.

This is my favorite scent because I think it smells like one of my husband's colognes.  The sale is also online, though there's a 4-item limit for the hand creams.  Free shipping over $75 (after discounts) and there's a 20% coupon code (WELCOME0611).  I went to the store because I didn't want to buy $75 worth of stuff and I wanted more than 4 hand creams.  But, you can return stuff at the store if you buy online so technically, you can buy enough for the free shipping and then return the extras at the store.  The 20% off works for the sale items online even though it says it wouldn't.  So, if you plan to buy a lot, it's a good deal.

I also got some clothes from Express and kids stuff from the Disney store.  I am a little disappointed with the Express sale.  I think I went too late.  There weren't a lot of stuff left.  I am still looking for some new clothes because I recently went through my closet and donated a bunch of old clothes.  That means more shopping next weekend!

~ Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream Review ~

Remember that big Missha Haul I did around Christmas time? Well, I finally opened the scariest sounding item...the Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream. From the website, it says "Containing Snail Slime Extract and Botanical Stem Cell, this cream renews and triggers the regeneration of skin. Also, Baobab Tree ingredient and Deep Sea Water Complex provides abundant amount of moist onto the skin". It's a big box! The set comes with a small bottle of sleep mask too.

The jar is big but it's just an illusion.  Most of it is just clear plastic.  But, I love it!  I love it because it's such a pretty yellow!  And I specially love the sleep mask bottom because it is yellow and it has stars on it!  Super super cute!  I haven't tried this yet, but I will soon!

Ok, perhaps I am biased because I am in love with the yellow packaging, but I like this cream.  The scent is very sweet and light.  To me, it's a very relaxing scent.  The texture is more like a gel than a cream.  It comes with a little clear spatula for you to scoop out the cream, which is a sign of luxury right?  After putting it on, I must say that it's very nice.  My skin absorbed it quickly and it feels very soft.

The reason I tested this today is because this cream is on sale on the Missha website!  If you follow this link, it will take you to the product page with the special price of $19.99.  That's $30 off!  Plus, guess what they have on sale!  40% off nail polish and 50% off BB cream! Plus you get free stuff when you order $60 or more!  So, you can get the snail cream for $20, a bunch of nail polish for ~$2-5 each, and a set of BB Cream+Boomer for $28 and you will get the Time Revolution White Cure Super White Toner.  What a steal!!  I am tempted, but I have so much BB Cream already.... what to do what to do!

~ NOTD: Mermaid's Tears and Zoya Promo ~

I have been battling a bad case of flu and to make myself feel better, I... did my nails!  I really wanted to use One Less Lonely Girl again because I love that purple but I wanted something fresh.  I am too tired to go to Ulta to get the minty green polish from the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean collection, so I made my own!  Here it is... my very own Mermaid's Tears!  I am holding a light blue flower so you can see that it is a little bit green.

For this fun project, I used Zoya Ginessa and Orly Halley's Comet.  The mix is about 60% Ginessa and 40% Halley's Comet.  I think I put too much Ginessa though.  I will try 50-50 mix next time.  I also topped it with my beloved Deborah Lippman Today was a Fairytale for extra sparkles.

I have a bunch of these contact lens holders lying around so I am using that as my polish mixer from now on.  When it's in the lens case, it looks darker.

Of course, I also topped it with Seche Vite top coat.  I got a new one because my old one is way too thick to use now.  I am probably going to get Seche Restore to fix it since I have 2 bottles of Vite.  I hope Ulta has it so I can get it using the coupon.

By the way, this manicure looks pretty similar to Crystal Fairytale that I did before, which is Zoya Crystal topped with Today was a Fairy Tale.  That was a more muted color though.  Mermaid's Tears is definitely more appropriate for spring and summer.

Zoya is having another promotion that ends on Monday.  According to the Zoya blog, "For a limited time with any** purchase (excluding Zoya Color Spoons) on Zoya.com you get Zoya Nail Polish in Caitlin and Zoya Nail Polish in Dove for free!! Just enter the code ZB52 when you check out!"  I am tempted because I really, really want Pippa!  But I don't care for these two colors.  Ok, I am going to behave myself.  If you want these colors, it's a great deal!

~ Forever 21 Haul ~

It's been a while since I purchased from Forever 21.  Maybe I am getting too old to shop there.  I ventured to their website after Elle from InsideOutElle blogged about some face masks available at their store.  I didn't see the one that she mentioned on the F21 website, but I did end up seeing other things... so glad maxi dresses are trendy now!  I got 2 :)  This is the Wild Flowers Maxi Dress.  I love the flowers and I love how it's not a deep V neck like many of their other dresses.  But, it is very, very long.  I am 5' 7'' and it's still very long on me.  If I am not wearing heels, I will trip over it for sure.
I also got this Floral Maxi Dress.  I love the print but the top half is totally weird!  The 2 little triangle covers about 75% of my chest and I am small!  I can't imagine anyone above a 32A wearing this dress.  I am thinking about returning it even though I love the print.  Or I may have to find a nice top to wear over it.

I got another floral skirt too.  It's actually long enough.  One of the reasons why I stopped shopping at F21 is because all their dresses and skirts are so short!  Either I have out grown their clothes or people nowadays just love short short skirts.

I also got 2 pairs of their leggings to wear with my rainboots.  They are one-size-fits-all and they fit, but they are very snug.  I should've known better than to buy one-size pants.  They are cheap though and are good basics to have.  Another fun item is this tweezer!  It's so cute and it's only $1.8.  I love it.  Does the cuteness make it a better tool?  YES.

I was also tempted to get their nail polish but I am waiting for the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean collection to come out.  I think I want that lilac and the silver shatter.  I saw it in the Ulta ad today and there's another $5 off $10 coupon!!!  Here's the link:  http://www.printablecouponfeed.com/ulta/27024  Ok, time to do my nails.  They have been naked for too long!

~ Zoya Nail Polish Exchange ~

I really should not get any more nail polish. I have a few bottles that I haven't even opened! But, Zoya has a really awesome deal going on right now!  It's the Zoya Nail Polish Exchange!  Basically, you get the polish for $4 a bottle, shipped.  Plus, you can send back your old, non-zoya polishes and they will dispose of them for you in a environmentally-safe way!

Here's what I have in my cart right now.  Pippa is a must because I love yellow and I really need an opaque yellow polish.  I want a true purple and a light creamy blue.  I don't have any cream polishes because I am all about glitter.  But I think I want to try some.  Any suggestions?

~ Cabin Fever Sale at ModCloth.com ~

Spring time means shopping for new dresses! I think I am outgrown Forever 21 because I only bought a few things there last year. I guess that's what happens when most of my twenties are behind me. So, I was on the look out for a new store to obsessed about and I happened to see a pretty yellow dress in a Facebook ad. It's for ModCloth.com

The dress I saw was pretty expensive.  And I was just about to give up when I saw their banner about a sale!  Sale?  Of course, I just have to look!  And.... that led to a $300+ shopping cart.

At the end I chose the following items...  First up, a bright yellow jacket!  This is so cute with the white trim! and the scallop flap for the pockets!  It's called the Yellow-So-Cute-Coat and only $24!

This is the Serpentine Way Dress.  Very sophisticated and it's $45.  It's good for work right?  I got a medium... I hope it fits my gigantic ... bottom.

Now, this "Vision of Blue Dress" is very pretty.  The deep V is a little too low for me, but nothing a nice cami can't fix.   And I usually don't wear mute blues, but I just love the style too much to let this one go.  And it was the last one, which makes me think that I have to buy it now.  It may not be there later!  Only $27 :)

I usually wouldn't wear a dress like this.  I feel like that kind of neck line is very conservative and mature.  But the print is so cute!  They are all little bows!  Only $21, so it's worth a try!  It's called "Just This Once".

This "Crosswalk Catwalk Jacket" is for my mom.  See?  I wasn't just shopping for myself.  She loves her and this style of jacket.  I am pretty sure she'll like it.  Only $34.

This "Cloud Coverage Dress" is nothing spectacular.  But it was only $17 and I think it'll be cute with a little cardigan or shrug.

This is the only dress that wasn't on sale that I got.  It's called "Poppy Go Lightly Dress"  I love poppy prints!  The sleeves are interesting and I hope I can pull it off.  It was the last one so I just had to get it!  I hate how they tell you how many is left is stock!

Overall, I had an awesome time shopping at ModCloth.com.  They have some really cute shoes and accessories too!  Though, some of the "apartment" items and accessories, I recognize from my trips to the wholesale malls in China and I see their big markup.  Their site is great though.  Great shopping experience!  Everything loaded quickly.  Very clean and intuitive interface.  I wish more stores are like that, namely Victoria's Secret's site.  I hate shopping on their site.  Anyway, I will post about these dresses again after I get them.  I hope I get them soon!

~ Missha 50% off Sale and Victoria's Secret Semi Annual Sale~

Ok, what is up with these sales!  I feel like this year has some pretty good deals.  Here we are, 2 days before Christmas and I am still seeing sales!  Most tempting is Missha and Victoria's Secret.  Missha has 50% off everything except their BB creams.  I really don't need anything because I have enough skin care to probably last me a year!  But, I do kind of want to get their cleansing oil...  I have heard many good things about it.  It's only $12.5 for 200mL bottle!

And I am pretty curious about this Snail Cream. It sounds so disgusting! I don't know if it's because it just reminds me of all the slugs that we caught in our yards that we fed to our fish this past summer. But, it just sounds disgusting. I just keep imagining a slug crawling on my face, leaving a trail of age-defying slime. But the packaging is nicely yellow.
The nail polish is also dirt cheap.  Although I was not impressed with the ones I got from clearance before because the colors are really translucent.  I usually have to put 3 coats to get a decent color.  It was only $0.29 each so I guess I shouldn't have expected too much.  I think Missha is more known for the BB Creams and I have enough to last me a while too.  I do like this travel set.  So cute and 50% off!

Over at Victoria's Secret, the semi-annual sale has started!  Free shipping with $100 purchase.  I usually get a few boucle sweaters during these sales because they are just so awesome (review here).  But, they don't have that many styles this year and it's not that cheap.  The cheapest one is $19.  I want the $15 turtlenecks!  They do have really cheap leggings though.  Just $5!  But the colors are pretty bright...  They have regular color leggies for $10.

I don't buy VS undergarments anymore, but I did see some very tempting deals.  Though I do prefer shopping for those items at Nordstrom rack because the prices are just about the same as the sale prices at VS and I think the quality is better.  They just lack the sexy VS models that makes every woman want to be like them.

VS also has a pretty good sale for their body and beauty products.  Lotions, perfumes, lipglosses, makeup palettes up to 50% off!  I like these little ornaments.

Ok, let's see if I can control myself.  I do need to order more beads soon too.  I need to make more money!

~ Shopping Continues on Cyber Monday ~

I spent too much money already but there are some good sales going on today that's irresistable to me.  I divided them into two categories:  beads and beauty products.

Beads
At Fusionbeads, Swarovski crystals are 15% off!  I don't need anymore crystals, but it's a good deal.  They have free shipping too so it's awesome if you only want a few things.  Plus, they  have 10% off $100 or more with code 'Jingle'.

Artbeads has 20% off everything!  But, you must order $60 worth of stuff.  I already stocked up on sterling silver chains and other findings.

So, Artbeads is a good deal if you just need to order $60 worth of stuff, but Fusionbeads is better for Swarovski if you order more than $100.

Beauty
I have been pretty obsessed with Origins lately and they have $10 off $25 and free shipping!  And, you can use it multiple times so I have placed 4 orders already.  I think the eye cream set is the best deal.  It has a full size eye cream, lip gloss and mascara and it's the same price as just the eye cream!  I also got Clear Improvement mask for my mom, High Potency Night-A-Mins®,  the eye cream set, Modern Friction™
Nature's gentle dermabrasion for myself.  I am tempted to get more!  For each order, you also get a sample of Youthtopia™ Skin firming serum with Rhodiola.

If you don't already know, Stila is having their warehouse sale, up to 80% off!  Missha has 50% off all their gift sets.  BeautyTicket has 30% off everything.  As a side note, Forever21 has free shipping on any order!  Victoria's Secret has buy 1 get 1 50% off bras and I am sure there are a bunch of coupon codes floating around on Retailmenot.com.

I am going to stop shopping now, I think.  Maybe just 1 more gift set from Origins.  Anyway, Happy Cyber Monday!  Don't forget to stop by my handmade jewelry shop and supplies shop on Etsy for 20% off with coupon code 'Thankful'.  Sale ends at midnight!
