~ More and More Snow ~

Wow! I don't remember this much snow in Maryland since I moved here! After the 6 inches last week, it looks like we have another 3 inches today. It was so pretty when it was falling! Very dense and fluffy!

Ok these were taken on Monday after our weekend snow storm. For some reason, the snow went through the gaps in my deck and created this pattern. It was so pretty but Momo was begging to go out. So, we let him destroy it. He wanted to go under the deck too. Bad Momo.


I love taking pictures of him flying! Look at all the snow he was kicking up!




Well, it was fun, but look how the snow melted and froze on his body! All these little clumps! I couldn't even take them out with my hands. I just had to wipe him down the best I could and wait for it to melt on its own.

Ok, my dad wanted to take a video of Momo running around and instead he caught Momo pooping. After he pooped, he was sliding around like that a few times. My dad and I were both shocked! Turns out he had some poop stuck on his butt and he was trying to wipe it himself. He's so funny :)

Supposed to be another big storm coming this weekend. Just spectacular! 1 more week and I will be in Hong Kong, where it is currently 70 degrees. I just checked weather.com :)

~ Cool Japanese Products ~

I love Japanese products because I think a lot of them have great design. A lot of times I look at the products and think, how did they come up with this?? Today, I found a little shop called Japan Trend Shop and they have all these fun products. Here are some that I find very interesting. Let me warn you that they may seem frivolous and totally unnecessary. But, that doesn't diminish it's cool/cute factor!

Heart or Star-shaped Cucumber Molds

I remember when I was young, I read from my dad's gardening books about how to grow square tomatoes and it was the coolest thing! Now, that seems like nothing compared to star and heart shaped cucumbers! Just love it! Love the star ones! They are super cute for sushi!

Cake Towels

I have actually seen these in Hong Kong and trust me, they are much cheaper than $52 that this site is selling them for! Nevertheless, I like them. I am surprised I haven't seen these on Etsy. Maybe I shouldn't have blogged about these and start up my own shop to sell these. Oh well. If you end up making these and selling them on Etsy, please just give me 10% of your profit :)

Really?? lol This could be pretty fun present for some people :)

I love the instructions: "A happy face means you're good to go. A neutral (flat-line) face means there's a little bit of detectable odor. If you get a sad face, it's time to grab the listerine". Hilarious!

More bath time toys! You can drop these in water! They light up when the bottom touches water. I have seen stuff like this as convention giveaways. But, these are so much cuter!

This is super cute! Works with any shampoo and body wash supposedly. It would be great to have one for a picnic with kids.

~ Add Some Creativity to Etsy Listings ~

I was taking pictures of some porcelain beads for my supplies shop yesterday. For some reason, I arranged them facing each other and then also laid some down on the side. When I started cropping the pictures, I suddenly heard voices in my head, whispering "you want another black eye?" I think it was the voices of my muses.


These pictures tell such a funny story! Well, in my head anyway. So, I messed around in Photo Elements for a little bit and came up with this....






Not all the pictures are inspiring though. This is cute...but my muses were quiet about these cows.


This one was almost there...but...can't really think of anything for these roosters.


My muses like the sheeps :) Hmm... you may say that they like violence...





I think they look fun in the listings!


I am definitely not making money on these beads if I count the time to make these listings. But, they are fun to make! Maybe I should start a contest like the ones for captions in magazines. Do these pictures tell you different stories?

~ You Write the Scripts, It Makes the Movies ~

I found this fun little website called Xtranormal that help you make movies. All you have to do is write the script. What he said. What she said.

They have a few different "worlds" for you to choose from. The free version has the basic background and actors. They also have premium features. I really like the Paws "world", but it's a premium feature so I didn't try it. It looks so adorable though!

If you want to get all fancy, you can add in expressions, body animations, camera angles, sounds, background ambient sounds or music. I just made a quick video as a demo. It took about 15-20 minutes. Now, just a little background about this "short film". My friend and I discussed the best way for a guy to approach a girl. He thinks it's ok to just say Hi and ask for her name. This is what I told him would probably happen if he did that.

Fun, isn't it? Depending on the response to that video, I may make another one about the right way of approaching a girl. Just a little tip though (about making videos, not picking up girls), sign up for an account of Facebook connect before you start making a video. When I tried to save the first time, it took me through the registration process. And afterwards, it didn't bring me back to the video I made! So, I had to do it again. Good thing, it didn't take long.

Make some videos and show me! I want to see what you can come up with! Ooo you can watch movies others made too. This one is totally awesome.

~ Favstar.fm - Awesome Tweets ~

I forgot how I stumbled onto this site. It might have been BitRebels or maybe on Facebook, but I've had some good laughs on Favstar.fm. What they do is go through a ton of people on twitter and count up the tweets that get "star"ed the most. You know the little star next to tweets that you can click on to save it as a favorite? Yeah, I didn't know that's public, but I guess it is.


There are some really funny tweets on here. Some of my favorites:
