~ Sweet and Romantic Charms ~

When I saw these at a charms store and I just had to have them. What's sweeter than glossy pink enamel charms with gold and rhinestone accents? These are all so super sweet and kawaii! First, there's the strawberry cake.

There are also lollipops! I think I like the spherical one more.

Here are some fairy tale icons. Which princess had a pink carriage?

How about a ticking grandfather clock?

Here's a set of sweet and sexy pink bikini with floral acccents.

This would be cute for mom-to-bes :)

Do you think these are cute?? I only have a few of each in stock right now and I will be listing them in my shop this week. If you want any of them before I list them, let me know and I will make a custom listing for you.

~ Homemade Salmon Sashimi ~

Does this look good or what?

So, I have always wondered if the sashimi I see at the Lotte international grocery store is any good. It's a little scary to eat raw fish like that. But, when it's served to me in a restaurant, then I think it's all safe. But, I figure I will give it a try. Only $5 for a big piece and it probably won't kill me right?

I was wondering if I need to soak it in wine or something to disinfect it. I googled it real quick and it seems like I can just slice it and eat it. So, that's all I did. Sliced it thin with a sharp knife and put it on a pretty plate.

Then, add some wasabi and soy sauce and voila! Salmon sashimi! I am not expert with fish but to me, it tastes just as good as the ones I eat at Japanese restaurants. My fiance agreed with me too. We ate this yesterday and we are still alive. So, not bad at all for $5. I think it is going to be a regular purchase for me from now on. Sorry, Yuraku, I can have my salmon sashimi fix at home now :)

~ Running Around with Momo ~

We stayed at the Double Tree hotel in Virgina beach this past weekend. They are dog friendly! It's so nice to have Momo with us. He was so good. He didn't have any accidents! It was a lil cold, but there was plenty of sunshine! So, I took this as an opportunity to play around with the DSLR and Momo. He likes the bed.

He ran around a lot outside! I just wanted to show off my slightly red hair here. I love my red highlights :)

It's rare that I catch him in his mid run and it's clear. He looks so funny!

He looks like a flying dog here. Too bad I blocked the picture :(

Flowers and Momo and sunshine. I was so happy.

Doesn't Momo look so cute against the pink of the flowers and the blue sky?

We took him to the beach too, but it was really cold so we didn't say long. Hopefully, we'll come back when it's warmer :)

~ Waterman's Beachwood Grill at Virginia Beach ~

I am so full! Here in Virginia beach, there are lots and lots of restaurants on the board walk. But which one is good? Well, I was talking to some hotel employees and they highly recommended Waterman's Beachwood Grill. I checked on Yelp and it looks like they have decent reviews, although it's only 3.5 stars. So, we headed over there around 8 and guess what? 1 hr wait! Oh well, we decided to wait since they are supposed to have the greatest "she crab soup".

Well the soup was pretty damn good! There were a couple huge chunks of crab meat in there. Very creamy and rich with flavor and not too salty at all.

The waiter said the calamari is the best on that broadwalk. It's fresh, never frozen and...I forgot what else he said. But, it was pretty good. The sweet chili sauce that came with it was great! I haven't had calamari with a sauce like that before. The banana peppers were also a great compliment to the calamari. It was quite refreshing. The only problem was that the portion is kinda small.

I had the Waterman's special pasta. It is the waiter's favorite, supposedly. It has scallops, shrimps and this sausage that meshes really well with the creamy sauce. I liked it!

The crab cakes are also pretty good. It's really lumps of crab and not a lot of filler. It was a little too salty for me though. But I guess if you eat it with the mash potatoes, it will be fine because that didn't taste like anything.

So, the place was pretty good. Price is average for a beach side restaurant. We had a table by the window facing the beach. That was very nice. The bar seemed to be pretty lively too. Supposedly, they have a really good "Orange Crush" drink, but I didn't have one. I am a good girl ;)

~ Momo and the Spring Flowers ~

When I moved to MD a few years ago, there was nothing special to me. Then, spring came and I was in awe of all the blossoming trees and bushes! Though, I miss the cherry blossoms every year. For many miscellaneous reasons, I just never make it down to DC to see them. But it's ok, I see so many flowers every day just in my neighborhood and on my way to work! I don't know what these are, but I have these in my yard.

From my yard, I can also see my neighbor's tree. I don't know what these are either, but they are so simple and pretty!!

I took a walk in my neighborhood with Momo yesterday. I didn't realize my neighbor has such a beautiful bleeding hearts bush! I love bleeding hearts!

Even dandelions are pretty! Ok, it helps that they are yellow.

These are my favorite! They come out a little after the cherry blossoms. I think these are Kwanzan Cherry trees? They are so pretty! The whole tree is vibrant and pink! Personally, I think these are prettier than cherry blossoms.

Look how happy Momo is outside! When I see him in the grass, it reminds me of the first time I met him. I think he looks really good against the green.

I put him on the Kwanzan Cherry tree. Doesn't he look comfy there?

Look at his eyes! It's rare that you can see his eyes so clearly. Thanks to the wind for blowing his fur out of the way.

Yeah he had fun on the tree.

He tried to eat the flowers I think...

I also see a lot of flowers on the way to work. I love this bush! It's so pretty and yellow. I snapped this one with my phone when I was at a red light.

These were in front of my work. I didn't have a chance to take pictures of the magnolias ( I think that's what they were) before the rain washed them away. But, these tulips are so pretty! Taken with my phone too.

I used to have really pretty flowers in my yard, but...well...I actually have a black thumb. My dad has the greenest thumb I know, but he's not here to plant the garden for me. I wish my mom will come help me with my yard. She has a really green thumb too. Her garden is beautiful! *hint hint* Mom :)

~ Eating Frog Legs on the Streets of Hong Kong ~

There's something about eating outdoors that makes me feel all special. Maybe it's because when I eat outside, it must be really nice outside and nice weather always makes me feel good. In America, eating outside seems like such a luxury with those iron cast tables and chairs and maybe a nice little umbrella to set the mood. Well, in Hong Kong, eating outside is pretty....well ... normal and definitely not as glamorous. Seriously, that was our table.

We went to this restaurant for their famous chicken. It was in an alley and they were so full that they had to open a table for us in front of a doctor's office.

The food was pretty good though. We had broccoli and frog. Yes, I said it. It's frog.

See? Frog legs. Frog really just tastes like chicken.

And this is the famous chicken. See the yellow skin? That's some good stuff!!! I just noticed the frog bones in the back. Just ruins the whole picture doesn't it?

It was a little cold though. But it was still fun to eat with my mom and my aunt there.

This street is pretty much empty with stores on both sides during the day. At night, the restaurants just bring out all the tables and people eat on the street. Hong Kong people love eating at night!

There are a lot of snacks you can eat on the streets too. Just standing there, no tables, no chairs. I will show you guys that over the weekend :)

~ Link Love on Facebook ~

If you have an Etsy shop and you have a Facebook fan page, you have probably come across this concept called "Link Love". Basically, a fan page owner has a discussion going on in the "Discussion" tab, where other fan page owners can put links for the fan pages and shops. Then, the fan page owner and fans can go through the discussion and check out the different fan pages and hopefully become fans. Usually, you can leave a comment with a link to your fan page on the wall when you become a fan. This is what people have written on my fan page.

The more you spread this link love, the more fans you'll get! I thought I would bounce around the different fan pages through link love today and show you the cool shops I discovered through this process. I am starting with AereonyxDesign (651 fans) first because Amanda is awesome :) She makes sparkly jewelry too!

Amanda's newest fan is Val of Val Zdero Art & Jewelry. She makes pretty pendants!

From there, I stopped by Jennifer's BlueRoomGems. More sparkly jewelry!

Then I found Twist 21 by Danielle. She makes these awesome colorful pendants.

Look at these pretty paper embellishments! They are made by Kindra.

Back to some jewerly with Cornelia's Creations. Love that blue ring!

Ooo look at these cute clothes!! Very adorable from Sweet Pea Blossoms.

And pretty hair accessories from Mila Rose Designs

Fun stuff! They all have a discussion page for Link Love. This is what I usually put:
